Everwin looks like a university: Joint Commissioner of Police

The chromosomal makeup in women is more powerful than that in men and this was why the so-called weaker sex is growing stronger and performing better in exams and career related tests, said M. Ravi, the Joint Commissioner of Police (North). He was speaking at the 15th Annual Sports Meet of Everwin Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Kolathur, on Monday, 26th February.

“The genes in women’s chromosomes are far more than the case in men”, he added. “What at times we fail to notice in women is their ability to do many things at a time and still do them perfectly. Observe your mother for a day and this wonder will come to light”, Mr. M. Ravi told the students. Pointing to all the 85 teachers in the school being women, he said the school’s innovative education could be attributed to this particular factor. He also exhorted the student community to have the ‘Matha, Pitha, Guru, Deivam’ lineup their daily mantra wherein too the woman in our mother grabs the top slot. “But the boys must not lose hopes and they must face the challenge thrown at them by the girls”.

The JCP went down memory lane and said in his school days the infrastructure was not good. He did not have even fan in his classrooms. With sheer hardwork and confidence, he had made it to this stage. He hailed the atmosphere at Everwin and said, “This school looks to me to be a university”. Mr. Ravi conferred the overall championship title on the Blue House which stole the show in the sports meet. Students displayed their yoga, karate, march past and pyramid formation skills at the event. As many as 27 events formed part of the competitions and students vied with one another to grab the honours Mr. B. Purushothaman, Principal, welcomed the chief guest and said the students were inspired by his visit.
