Concentration Camp
“My work is more important than anything else in the world” - This is how one must often say to be in a constant mod of concentration, says Mrs. Padma Chandra Sekhar, Director, Aspire Superkidz, Perambur branch.

She and two of her programme coordinators were in Everwin on November 23, 2006 conducting a concentration camp for students of Class VIII onwards. Mrs. Padma advocated a ‘Here and Now’ concentration technique to be adopted by the students and others.

This technique involves mind focusing only on the things being done by us ‘here and now’ and nothing else.

“My work is more important than anything else in the world”. One must say this into the mind very often. “Your work at this age is to study. Give it utmost importance and concentration will be there automatically”, Mrs. Padma advised the students.

The students sitting down and closing eyes did a unique concentration exercise as guided by Mrs. Padma.

The programme was found extremely useful by the students. The school has already a weekly yoga period.
